At 10 ounces, the aluminum seed pod weighs in at exactly half the weight of the Standard Seed Pod (20 ounces). Andre Mr.S

For extended wear, apply an external condom catherer to the penis before securing the velcro. Then, just run the rubber tip out the hole already there, trim to desired length, and you can pee without making a mess inside the pod. This greatly extends the wear time between necessary cleanings.

I think the pod is great; it's a project to get it on, but once it is, it feels great - until...

I was in the SF store today and a sales associate, Patrick, helped me try one one. Wow, what an erotic experience for the few minutes I was trying it. I actually enjoyed the weight of the steel one as opposed to the lighter aluminum one (plus it's cheaper). Patrick was great at putting me at ease during the "fitting." A definite future purchase!

How large are the spikes? My Dom is considering putting me in the seedpod. As we measure things out, we want to be sure that the spikes are safe for long term wear.

The spikes themselves are scarcely 1/8" and are quite dull.
They won't case any discomfort when you are flaccid; and can actually be quite pleasant. When you start to get hard though, that's another story!!
You won't suffer any long term consequences as a result of the spikes though and they are quite safe for long term wear.

When the pod is closed, where does the curved bar come down and how much pressure does it put on your shaft near the base?

The curved bar, or keeper, sits at the base of the shaft when the pod is locked into place. How much pressure is exerted will depend on the size of the boy being locked up.
