I was recently allowed to purchase the Sci-Fi Hood by my Dom. This is actually my first hood to every own and/or wear so this review comes from a newbie. I found the hood to be extremely well built and heavy. The leather was in good condition and the clerks at the store worked with me and put me in the hood to make sure it fit perfectly. Once I put this hood on, I feel like I have been locked in my own cage of leather with no way out (at least not by my own doing). The leather is tight and feels like a second skin. Wearing it for the first time for 1.5 hours to get "a feel" for it, I was very very impressed and loved the sensations it produced. I agree with other reviewers, this hood will force you work on your breathing, but don't worry you won't suffocate. I look forward to wearing it more and more. When you get this hood, remember to break in the leather, especially the neck collar. The brand new leather is thick and heavy gauge, so it will be stiff and won't form nicely around the neck. Just means you have to wear it more. Enjoy it.

I have spent many days in this hood. The great thing is that it is locked on, so even when not in restraints I can't remove it. And...when zipped up and locked, I have no say at all!

this hood is great, the zip up mouth is brilliant it shuts me up when my owner wants me to and fully restricts jaw movement it can also be locked!, it fits tightly and when locked on its impossible to remove combined with fist mitts and a leash its amazing!

I was perusing a small store in Greenwich Village, NYC when I happened upon an extraordinary hood that stood out above all the rest. I could not figure out for the life of me who made it, until one day I was perusing this site and lo and behold there it was, the Sci Fi hood. Restricts jaw movement like a muzzle, shuts me up like the bitch I am. Thank you kindly.

Have been thrilled with this hood for several months now. Once the mouth is zipped up, you have to focus on your breathing from the nose holes, adding to the excitement during play. I like it tight around the neck & face, and this hood dilivers with the heavy-duty buckle straps. Worth every cent! Thanks Mr. S!
