Renegade Hoodie
The most coveted piece in the collection. No photo could do this piece justice due to the sheer comfort and the many details that go into it. Heavy red furniture threading is used to attach the patches and the whole piece has a ‘stressed’ look that makes it feel like your well-worn favorite over the years - even from the very first day.
We first notice this line of tees at Castro St Fair about three years ago… Just happened to come across a guy in the shop this summer who knew the designer, Henry, so we asked to meet him. He’s a Bay Area punk with a real old skool way of making one-of-a-kind clothing…
No two pieces are exactly the same as Henry does them himself one at a time. He even brews his own tea for soaking fabrics to produce rich colors. The Savage Soul is actually a bleach screen printing on a black shirt. Totally original and very cool…
We appreciate the masculinity of this line and really welcomed the opportunity to work with a local queer artist. The images he chooses are impactful and strong – and just the thing for keeping it sexy when you can’t always wear your favorite “Fist Me” tee to the grocery store.
