Hour Glass
Chrome and Black with Marble Base
I don't know about you, but I've alway thought an hour glass was a pretty cool device. Pretty 'low tech' when it come to keeping time... no diodes or flashing numbers. This hour long hour glass is a classic....Black marble top and base, stainless steel supporting bars and glass bulbs. Standing 10" high, it holds enough fine white sand to take a full hour for it to run down. It's also 'very' easy to reset when the hours over.
Now think of the many fun ways you might be able to use this in a scene, beside it just looking really cool on your bookshelf.
I've left a boy tightly hog tied with a stop watch sitting in front of him, so he can watch as the 60 minutes slowly go by. Pulling this hour glass out for that same purpose would add a touch of class or style to your plans. It probably would give the boy thoughts of some old Vincent Price movie and wonder what else you had in store for him. Fucking with people's minds is such a nice subtle part of a good scene. We're sure you will be able to come up with a few more cool uses for it.
This piece can take us back to 'when times were simpler'.
See also our 4 minute long 'hour glass' MG821.... maybe for shorter duration scenes like 'Breath Control'..... (just kidding)
