Snug and sturdy as they say, even for long stretches. Benefits from a little extra stuffing if you want a better muffle, too.

Awesome muzzle, feels so good and pretty much seals around your mouth when tight. Great for long term use, I feel naked without it.

The only way this muzzle will restrict breathing through the mouth is if it were to be used in conjunction with a gag. That being said; the muzzle does effectively reduce a boys speech to nothing more than mumbles anyway, so a gag is probably not necessary.
If a gag IS used, the way that it is cut still allows for easy breathing through the nose.

Does this restrict mouth breathing enough to make playing in it alone unwise? I see the breather in the leather version and unharnessed mouthpiece, but am not sure if that's a style/preference or vital.
