the pictures really do this thing little justice. it's a 12" long, and 1/2" thick single piece of rubber. it's firm in the hand, and the flexion that the paddle is capable of achieving (which is unfortunately not displayed in the pictures) really enables this thing to pack a wallop. it lands with a serious thud, and the sting is felt immediately and for quite a bit after.
the length of the handle (which was a bit of a concern due to its not being shown in full on the product page) is dead on and the handle itself very firm and solidly attached (which was another concern that wound up assuaged).
oh, and the thing also smells great.
i couldn't be happier with this purchase.

This is a great little paddle. It looks so small and innocent, but it packs a major whallop with very little effort. It's good for a gentle warm-up too.
