Mr. S's take on the de rigueur armband is a winner. The leather is soft and comfortable, and well suited for extended wear. There are two snap-fastener bases for the button top to connect with, giving the wearer about an inch of play, so if you measured a little off, you still needn't worry about bicep muffin-top or slippage.
Costing under $20, this is a good, safe, first buy for the leather-curious.
