Butt Plugs and Dildos
|
|
We love to play with our holes- get in there, get some good
prostate stimulation going on & fill you up. Some folks like
butt plugs, others dildos; some big, some small and some folks
like to take a fist after workin’ that hole a little bit.
There are 2 basic types of butt toys –
Plugs and Dildos.
The basic difference is – plugs you stick in and they
don’t really go anywhere, whereas a dildo is something you
ride/slide in and out of your hole.
What you use and prefer is totally unique to you. Some folks
like being plugged and filled, and some folks like having their
hole plundered by a toy sliding in an out – or if you are
lucky you like a bit (or a lot) of both.
We have a huge selection of different toys to choose from in a
bunch of different materials. Different materials have different
advantages – texture, firmness, price and lube
compatibility. If you use a lube that is not compatible with your
toy you will greatly decrease its life expectancy.
The toys we carry come in the following different materials:
|
 |
Acrylic
For that unyielding hard sensation
– our
Acrylic
Toys
are handcrafted here in Northern California. These toys
can be used with any type of lube. One of the great
things about the acrylic is that after and while you are
inserting it you can see the inside of your (or your
piggy partner’s) hole – watch them open up
for it and tighten down around it. Totally fuckin’
hot.
Wash these toys with soap and water. Do
not use alcohol based cleaners - it will fog the acrylic.
|
| |
 |
Plastics
A wide selection of toys come in a
variety plastics and rubbers and are made by a whole host
of manufacturers. The materials differ from manufacturer
to manufacturer – as does the hardness and their
compatibility with different lubes.
These toys tend to be very affordably
priced and are going to come in a good variety of
moderate to average sizes. We recommend using water based
lubes with these toys.
Some of these toys are
Falcon,
Doc Johnson
,
COLT
,
and Aneros.
These toys should be washed with soap and water.
|
| |
 |
Latex
Latex is a natural gum rubber whereas
many of the toys in the above category are petroleum
based products. We carry both
Inflatables
and the
Creative Moldings
solid latex toys. Latex toys have the advantage of being
reasonably priced (especially in the larger sizes) and
have a firm but not hard texture.
Latex toys are compatible with silicone
and water based lubricants – but should not be used
with oil lubes. Oil based lubes will cause your
inflatable to weaken and pop and your solid toys to
harden and crack.
If you have a latex sensitivity you
should not use these toys. These toys should be washed
with soap and water

|
Vinyl
Vinyl toys have the advantage of being
able to be used with any type of lube. You can also get a
good-sized toy for a decent price. We have carried the
Domestic Partner
line for many years and they continue to be favorites.
These toys should be cleaned with soap
and water.
Vinyl should be stored separately from
other toys, as the vinyl will occasionally have an
unusual reaction with other plastics.
|
| |
|
|
Silicone
Silicone is a dense and highly durable
material that is also completely inert to your body.
People who have allergies or sensitivities to other
materials should not have any negative reaction to
silicone toys.
Silicone can be produced in a variety of
hardnesses – from a soft ‘lifelike’
texture to a firmer solid form.
Silicone toys are usually a bit more
expensive but they also boast a longer life expectancy
and more cleaning options. It is safe to use water based,
or oil based lubes on all silicone toys – but some
silicone lubricants interact badly with some silicone
toys.
We carry three lines of silicone toys
– Vixen and Tantus and
Square Peg
(Square Peg toys incidentally can be used safely with our
Mr. S Body Glide
Silicone lubricant – we have tested it
extensively).
Silicone toys can be cleaned with soap
and water. Different manufacturers will give varying
instructions – for instance
Square Peg
indicates that their toys can be placed in the dishwasher
or even boiled to sterilize the material.
(Please use caution and allow your toys
to fully cool before you use them if you employ this
cleaning method.)

Be Realistic
Many of us have had this experience; you see the
hottest fuckin’ shape in the store that makes your hole
twitch and makes your dick jump. You wrap your hand around it and
you fall in... Well lust, Like the dog chasing the stick you are
fixated. So you buy it, get home and try to shove it in your hole
and lo and behold – it’s too big and just won’t
go.
It’s disappointing to have
spent the money on something you can’t use and more
importantly - your hole is still hungry. If you have played with
toys before you should have an idea of what you can take. Get
something within your limits, or if you want to move up to a
bigger toy you should get something only a little bigger.
If your limit has been a toy that is 7” in
circumference don’t buy a toy that is 9” in
circumference. You should have at least couple of toys in between
– or a toy that stretches you open more as your sit on it
– (D456 Tusk for instance.) Be
smart about it – playing with your hole should feel good
and sometimes very intense – but if it HURTS you are
probably exceeding your limits and need to back down to a
smaller toy.

Clean that Hole
Before you start stuffing toys (tongues,
fingers, dicks or fists for that matter) in your hole, it
is always a good idea to clean it out first. You should
do this for two primary reasons; first, nobody likes a
dirty hole (well, most people don’t anyway.) If your
ass is clean you are more confident and relaxed knowing
that things are not going to suddenly get messy.
Cleaning out is a great first step to
getting in the right frame of mind for a good session.
Secondly, playing with a clean hole reduces irritation
and damage that can occur during play. If you are not
clean you are basically taking waste and rubbing it back
and forth aggressively against the wall of your
intestine. (this can cause irritation, damage and
potentially infection.)
Cleaning out is the process of rinsing
your ass with water. You can use
douche bulbs,
enema kits or a
Shower Shot.
Basically you keep rinsing until you are clean. Using
some lube in this process can help you from getting an
irritated ass from the process - a little silicon lube on
the tip of your chosen douche implement and a dab in your
hole can go a long way to helping out.
Go Slowly: you
can do as much damage with high water pressure and too
much water as you can with too big a toy. Remember
– take it easy, rinse and repeat as necessary.
Sometimes its super quick and sometimes it just seems to
go on an on and on.
Take whatever time you need - A clean
hole is a happy hole.

Lube
Everything that has to do with your ass is better with lube.
Different people like different things – and it can depend
on what toys or gloves you are using what type of lube you want
to use.
|
 |
Water Based
Water based lubricants like
Wet or
Astroglide
are good with all types of toys. Another GREAT water
based lube is J-Lube.
J-Lube
take a bit more work because you have to mix it up
yourself – and it has a short shelf life once it is
mixed, but there is nothing like it for bigger toys or
taking a fist.
You can mix it to whatever consistency
you prefer, it’s cheap, and you can make a LOT of
it.

Oil Based
Oil based lubricants have a great
reputation for staying slick and keeping a good
consistency for a longer time.
None of that drying and stickiness you
can get from water-based lubes.
We manufacture a fantastic oil based
lubricant called Shaft, which
doesn’t dry out – stays slick and has the
added benefit of washing off with water. That’s
something that most other oils cannot boast.
We also carry two other oil-based
lubricants – Elbow Grease
and Men’s Cream.
Unfortunately oil based lubricants are
NOT latex compatible. That means latex toys, latex gloves
and condoms will quickly degrade and loose their
effectiveness if you use them with oil based lubes.
[The
Avanti
brand of condoms and the
Purple Nitrile Gloves
are good alternatives to latex when you are using
grease.]

 |
Silicone Based
Silicone based lubricants are great
– they stay slick for a long time and don’t
dry out. We produce
our own brand
of silicone lube in two styles.
Mr. S
Bodyglide is the standard liquid silicone lube, with
what we think is a perfect consistency – it’s
great for insertable play or jacking off. We also carry
the Mr. S Ultra Glide Gel, which is a gel version of the
Bodyglide
It’s great when you need a thicker
gel lubricant with a little more body.

Know Your Limits & Play Safe
Like we said before – playing with your hole should feel
good and can sometimes be very intense – but if it HURTS
you are probably exceeding your limits. It’s your ass and
you need to be the judge of what is good for it and what is not.
A few key points: Clean your as | Use lots of
lube | And again, if it hurts – Stop.
If there is blood it is probably a good indicator
that you have injured something and should stop; there are not
the nerve endings inside this area that you are used to on other
parts of your body. Drinking and recreational chemicals can
impair your judgment, so be aware of your body and play sanely.
|
Sharing Toys
Sharing toys is not a good idea without taking certain
precautions. When playing with insertable toys you are getting
your body fluids on that toy to some extent - mucus, cum, and
blood.
Sharing toys is an easy way to transmit: Hepatitis, HIV, Anal
Warts, Gonorrhea ad Syphilis – to name a few.
If you want to share your toys you should use them with a
condom or get a type of toy you can sterilize (Square Peg toys
for instance) Just washing your toy with soap and water does not
do enough to allow you to share it safely.
