How to Apply Your New Wallpaper

Determine Your Screen Size:
Right click on your desktop, select Properties or "Personalize" in Vista and select Settings or Display Settings. The dimensions of your screen are under " Screen area" or "Screen resolution".
Apply Your Wallpaper:
Choose the size of wallpaper that matches your screen resolution (800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 800, 1280 x 1024 or 1440 x 900). Click on the size you want it will open in a new window. Right-click on the image and select "Set as Wallpaper" or "Set as Background". Done. |

Select System Preferences from the Apple menu and choose "Displays" where your screen resolution will be highlighted.
Apply Your Wallpaper:
Choose the size of wallpaper that matches your screen resolution (800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 800, 1280 x 1024 or 1440 x 900). Click on the size you want it will open in a new window. Control click on the image and select "Save this Image" to save it to your computer.
Go to the Apple menu and select "Control Panel" then "Appearance".
Choose "Place Picture", find the image and click "Set Desktop". Done. |
