Hole design could be better

The shape of this douche does work very well and I enjoyed that part of it. However, the design choice to put 4 holes on the sidewall of the tip doesn't feel great to me. If my clean out isn't quick, then I feel it becomes abrasive at times. Also, I can feel the bulb starting to split inside but it hasn't affected its function thus far.
